Event Information
About this Event
Join us for a special event on Nov 16th. We are very lucky to have Mary Lee Crocker who is a past board member and who has agreed to present (via zoom) a 20 min presentation on Mental Health.
During this pandemic, it's more important than ever to focus on our mental health and recognize that in order to care for others, both in our immediate circle and our larger community, we need to first focus on caring for selves. To this end, I'm going to talk a bit about the common stressors that not only affect our daily lives outside of COVID, but have been particularly impacted during this uncertain time.
Mary will talk about the importance of self care, and share some basic tips on things people can do everyday. She will also talk about resilience, and how self care can build resilience so that you can help others build their resilience.
