Presenter:

James Earls, author of Born to Walk, clearly articulates the “essential events” during gait in this course. His style of teaching allows therapists of all levels to break down and analyze the movement at each joint. Walking, one of the most used daily functions is often one of the least understood biomechanically. In this workshop, James will present his insights gathered from working with Anatomy Trains ®’s fascial chains, more than 25 years of bodywork, and most recently a PhD in 2017.

More about the Presenter:

Lecturing at conferences worldwide, James has been teaching workshops since the 2000's. Born in Ireland, James has studied under some of manual therapy’s most well known educators – Thomas Myers (Author of Anatomy Trains), Gary Gray (GIFT program), and Art Riggs (Advanced Rolfer®). With a growing demand for both manual and movement therapy integrated into one treatment, a wide range of practitioners will find this course applicable. James is an experienced instructor, and is known to passionately teach in a relaxed and humorous manner. He has been an influential contributor to the field of structural integration and all manual practitioners in the UK over the last decade.

Additional Notes:

James also co-authored Fascial Release for Structural Balance – A definitive guide to the assessment and manipulation of Fascial patterns.
