Description

The Downtown Abbotsford (ADBA) has joined with The Reach Gallery Museum, Trethewey House Heritage Site, Tourism Abbotsford, City of Abbotsford - City Hall, University of the Fraser Valley, and other partners to coordinate a city-wide Jane's Walk in memory of Jane Jacobs on Friday, May 4th to Sunday, May 6th.

The partners are pleased to launch the second annual Jane’s Walk Abbotsford at Trethewey House (2313 Ware Street) on Friday, May 4th at 3pm. Walks will include an Instagram walk of Downtown Abbotsford, walks at the University of the Fraser Valley, a country walk in Mount Lehman, historic walks including a tour of Musselwhite Cemetery, and natural history hikes. There are close to 20 walks on board this year providing participants with a variety of experiences to enjoy. Everyone is encouraged to attend, with more information about the accessibility, themes, and difficulty of the individual walks available at janeswalk.org/canada/abbotsford

Anyone can lead a Jane’s Walk and we want to hear from you! Please visit the website or contact City Organizers Connie Hackett or Marianne Fedori at janeswalkabbotsford@gmail.com for how you can be involved or join a walk.
