About this event
The Zoom password for all iSkills workshops is "iSkills".
Approximately 98% of all websites use the JavaScript programming language. JavaScript enables us to embed both client-side and server-side logic into websites and web applications. Understanding some of the most popular web development libraries and frameworks such as React and Vue requires knowledge of JavaScript. In this workshop you will learn how to use JavaScript to add client-side logic to your websites. We will explore JavaScript syntax and learn basic DOM (Document Object Model) manipulation using JavaScript.
This workshop assumes no previous knowledge of programming or JavaScript.
Learning outcomes:
- Learn the basic syntax of JavaScript.
- Understand the basics of interacting with the DOM (Document Object Model) using JavaScript.
- Be able to read and write small snippets of JavaScript code.
- Learn basic JavaScript debugging using DevTools.
Please ensure that your computer is running the latest version of Google Chrome for this workshop.
