About this event
Saxophonist, composer and educator T.K. Blue is joining us in Ottawa for a workshop and concert. On December 15th, from 4:00-6:00pm, T.K. will be giving a workshop entitled, "The Blues in Jazz Improv: The African Aesthetic" at the Centretown United Church, located at 507 Bank St. in Ottawa. The following night, December 16th, from 7:30-10:30, he will perform at Festival Japan Restaurant, located at 149 Kent St. in Ottawa, an intimate restaurant with a jazz club atmosphere. Come out and join JazzWorks as we kick off this concert season with a bang!
For the workshop: Limited parking is available off Argyle Avenue and in the Glashan Public School parking lot, located at 28 Arlington Avenue.
