On July 17, the Joint Economic Development Initiative Inc. is hosting an Information Technology (IT) Summit in Fredericton at the Crowne Plaza. During the evening we will be hosting a networking event for attendees in the evening, there will be demos and information tables set up for guests to explore.
July 18, we will hear from our keynote speakers on the importance of Information Technology in First Nations communities. There will be panels on Indigenous women working in the IT field, as well as a panel on digital storytelling. JEDI will showcase the programs being offered through our IT division, and what will be coming soon!

JEDI is a leading Indigenous organization dedicated to supporting Indigenous participation in New Brunswick's economy. JEDI began in 1995 as a tripartite partnership between Indigenous communities in New Brunswick, the Government of Canada and the Government of New Brunswick. In 2009, JEDI was incorporated as an independent, non-profit organization and over the years JEDI has grown into an Indigenous organization focused on working closely with its partners from Indigenous communities, organizations, government and the private sector to foster Indigenous economic development in New Brunswick.
