Event description

Description

High on the Globe and Mail's bestseller list sit several of Jennifer Robson's historical novels.

Midnight in Paris, Somewhere in France and After the War is Over are meticulously researched stories set in the era of the First World War. The owners of the Elsie Perrin Williams Estate, Hadley and Elsie Williams travelled to England in 1916 where Hadley served as Medical Officer-in- Charge of a military hospital in Kent.

They returned home in July 1917 to move into their newly built house. Their experiences tie in with Jennifer Robson's subject matter, making this an ideal location for one of her book readings.

Ms. Robson will be with us on Sunday afternoon. Meet the author, ask her questions, and take afternoon tea with her in the library. Ms. Robson may well be willing to sign your book if you bring it with you. Seating limited- book early.
