Thank you for registering. Here are some FAQs: What time should I come? Registration starts at 5:00 pm. We are also asking for volunteers to come and help set up/direct traffic. If you are able to come by 4:00 pm for set up, it’d be greatly appreciated. Where in the park is it? Location is at the Picnic Shelter (Covered Area) in Trout Lake Park. Please look up the directions ahead of time to avoid parking problems. What can I bring into the event? Suggested donation of $5 per person to cover the cost of rentals and extras. Remaining proceeds will go towards future events and the ministries of SIM and Mission Central. Please bring a dish to share by last name... A-J main course or appetizers, K-Q salad/fruit, R-Z dessert/drinks. Bring a picnic blanket since we will sit on the grass. Please bring your own dishes, cutlery and cups. Let's be earth-friendly! Please remember to bring the following items: - your dish to share - picnic blanket/cloth - own mugs/cups - cutlery - frisbee or beach ball (optional) - any other picnic items you may need - cash donations - sunscreen - containers (if you’d like to take home leftovers) How can I pray for this event? Description

This potluck picnic and networking event is a chance to meet others in your field of work who share your love for Jesus and your desire to live out your mission in the marketplace.

Come have a meal together, be introduced to the concept of “Jesus At Work”, then gather into groups by profession to meet and discuss questions such as, "How do we live out our call in our workplaces? What are the greatest obstacles to sharing our faith? What does it mean to live a seamless life, integrating faith and work?"

The target group for this event is young professionals working in various spheres. Each group will be facilitated by a leader working in that field.

These are the Special Guests who will be sharing:

Education - Paul Kane

Law/Government/Public Sector - Bob Kuhn, Attorney, Kuhn LLP, President Emeritus, TWU

Technology/IT/Engineering/Science - Enoch Weng, Financial Advisor, Freedom 55 Financial, Director of FaithTech Vancouver
