About this Event

Jesus-Centred Discipleship in the Post-Election Reality

Political polarization in church communities has never been greater, and not just in America. The whole world is watching with uncertainty at what will unfold after the US election on Tuesday, November 3rd.

How do we as church leaders keep Jesus at the centre amidst mounting polarization, while trying to keep our churches from fracturing along political ideological lines? How do we lean into this polarization rather than avoid talking about politics altogether? How do we normalize political differences and stay united? Join us as we explore how to pastor well and lead our churches with vivid kingdom vision in the wake of whomever wins the next US Presidential election.

In this live podcast we will share conversation with two Jesus-centred pastors leading churches in North Carolina and Arizona, both highly polarized swing states. They'll discuss practical ways they are talking about politics and how they are discipling their people in the ways of Jesus in such a divided culture. We'll explore resources, strategies, and experiential ways to keep Jesus at the centre of discipleship and mission.
