Description

✿ EVENT DETAILS ✿
Move, sweat, breathe, laugh aloud and act with your 6 senses during this 15 -hour immersion with AcroYoga Montreal senior ambassadors, Jill Campbell and Heidi Blais!

We'll work outside of the box as we switch base-flyer roles, explore new basing positions and transition between postures via original counterbalances and endurance-based flows. Jill and Heidi share with you a selection of their viral repertoire, including: partner handstands, slack-ro, L-basing rotations, hybrid flows and exercises in the creative process. To keep things fresh, this workshop is topped off with the innovative games that distinguish the Montreal style.

✿THE MISSION✿
Inspire new possibilities in your practice and challenge you to develop your own unique movement vocabulary, in accordance with your partners.

✿YOUR PROFILE AS A PARTICIPANT✿
This is an intermediate-advanced workshop in which variations will be offered to accommodate all experience levels. Please note that if you are new to acroyoga, a consistent practice in related disciplines such as yoga, capoiera, dance, slackline, martial arts, circus, etc is highly recommended. As well, participants should be familiar with being upside-down in positions such as shoulderstands and headstands.

Come with a willingness to self-assess and modify according to your and your partners’ needs. The nature of this workshop demands presence, willingness and innovation as a spotter. Fostering a supportive atmosphere is key as we work into challenging places together. Experienced and novice practitioners will be challenged and delighted.
