JobStart Canadian Workplace Culture Workshop
About this event
Join our interactive workshop on Canadian Workplace Culture and learn essential Canadian traits to help you fit in at work.
Guest Speaker Katina Deichsel will be sharing her expertise to help newcomers succeed in a Canadian workplace and identify differences and similarities to their background workplaces.
What does working in a Canadian company mean? What are the expectations, duties and responsibilities of all workers in Canada? And, where exactly can you find all the information?
Working in the Canadian workplace takes both professional skill and personal knowledge of the Canadian values that employers expect from their employees and themselves. Throughout our 3 hour workshop, you will learn those Canadian values that will help you to not only survive but also thrive in your new position on your first day, and through your first week, first month and first year.
You will learn valuable tools to help you manage the differences in work culture, best present yourself at work, and understand the dos and don'ts in more detail.
Join us in this interactive workshop session and learn not only how to get a job - but to keep it!
