Abstract:

The academic journal review process could be seen as a conversation between authors, editors, and reviewers. Authors who are successful in this process are those who understand the roles, expectations and mindsets of reviewers and journal editors and can effectively communicate to them the quality and relevance of their work while being willing to incorporate their comments. This seminar demystifies the review process and offers practical guidelines for avoiding desk rejection and benefiting from this conversation.
