Event Details

Spring has (almost) sprung, JHR's Sierra Leone project helped ensure peaceful elections in 2012, and in March we're launching the JHR International Youth Trainer program in Tanzania and Ghana. 

 

This calls for a celebration! Please join us!

 

 Tuesday 19 March

6:30 - 9:30 pm

Campbell House Museum, 160 Queen Street West, Toronto. 

Canapes and Cocktails 

 

This evening will feature stories from Sierra Leone by JHR alumni Kimberly Gale (CBC News) and MacKay Taggert (Global Toronto) and will introduce the 2013 Youth Trainers. 

 

Tickets are $12.00 through Event Brite, $15 at the door. 

 

Memberships sold and donations raised at the event will help support journalists and JHR training in Sierra Leone, Ghana, Tanzania, Liberia and the DR Congo.
