Event description

Description

On Saturday October 28, BCCB is hosting a benefit concert for the Bangladeshi flood victims and the Rohingyas. We have booked a hall that can accommodate 1000 guests... yes the number is quite high, but we truly believe it will be possible, as we believe you will attend for such a great cause. The details are actively being worked on, but in parallel, we wanted to get this page up and running in order for you to save the date.

Management Team
1. Chief Adviser and Music Director: Tulu Ashiquzzaman.
2. Event Director: Shopon Gazi
3. Event & Artists Liaison: Shaft RC

Organized by: BCCB.

1. Why should we attend?

Two reasons:

a. First, you can view it as an extraordinary concert. We have no doubt in our minds, that once you attend, you organically realize why. We had goosebumps last night, when we heard the plan. You can come and enjoy an amazing time. A time that will be different than any others. That will be exceptional. That is the BCCB experience we can provide you with.

b. Second: This is our main reason. All proceeds from this will go to support the flood victims. No ifs and buts. So by participating you lend your hand to support a great cause.

2. Why in October?

In fact, it is not late. It is planned to be in October. This is why:

a. Immediate Need: We have already raised a good amount of fund through our gofundme page, that is being used to address immediate needs. This was because of you.

b. Mid to Long Term Need: Try to visualize the needs of the affected people. Most have lost their livelihood. The funds raised from this concert will go on to help this need and alleviate the situation for a long term solution.

c. At BCCB, we do things with sufficient lead time. This is because we want to make sure we do everything in our power to create an experience. We could not have done it over few weeks. At least such big undertaking. This is the first time BCCB is going to organize events at such large scale. We needed time to make sure we deliver.

3. Cost?

We will have tickets starting at $20. I am sure you will find it a reasonable donation. We will be taking a higher amount of donation (if willing) for some tickets.

4. Who will perform?

a. Tulu Ashiquzzaman and team are working out the details. A number of bands will perform. It will be a night to remember. We holding off publishing the name of the bands. Once they are all confirmed, we will. Suffice to say, Tulu Bhai will perform.

b. As mentioned earlier, it will be the best of the best. You can count on our word.

5. Will there be food?

a.We will have at four quality food vendor. This is to make sure you have food, if you need, during the time of your stay. Food vendors will have dinner items and snacks to sell.

b. However, by the venue's rule, foods will not be allowed inside the hall.

6. Parking?

Sufficient parking available, and note that it is Free parking.

7. Volunteers

a. We need at least 40 volunteers that will be willing to help. You will be working with legends, professionals, and have a lifetime experience of accomplishment. Trust me. If you want to volunteer, contact Shopon Gazi or Rimon Mahmud.

b. In this event, all of us are paying which means even the volunteers are also buying tickets.

c. You will be happy to note that even the Performers will donate not only time, talent but also financially for this great cause. Hats off to them.
