The Salvation Army Journey to Life Centre’s 17th annual fundraising dinner

This premier event of The Salvation Army raises funds to support the programs and services at the Journey to Life Centre in Thunder Bay. These programs, addressing the root causes of poverty and homelessness, includes assisting our clients and residents in their journey to a better life.

The evening features multiple award winning television broadcaster and mental health advocate Valerie Pringle. In addition to being a broadcaster and a journalist, Valerie Pringle has been actively involved in a number of humanitarian causes and organizations, devoting her time and resources to make a positive impact on the community. At the event, Valerie Pringle will be shedding light on the demanding topic Mental Health is Health.

The evening will also include a silent auction and the last year's megahit - the Gift Card Grab - purchasers of the $20 boxes will receive a selection of surprise gift cards and one lucky person will receive a weekend get away (make sure to bring some cash for this fun part of the night)!

We are pleased to offer an alcohol -free Mocktail cash bar. In respect for those we work with who struggle with addictions, we provide this alternative for your enjoyment.
