JourneyWoman Community Call: Age-Defying Women (February 11)
Event Information
About this event
Join Diana Eden, who writes JourneyWoman’s Travel over 80 column, to talk about age-defying, adventurous women. After a career as a dancer and actress, she spent 30 years in Hollywood, costume designing prime time television series, soap operas, pilots, movies for TV, and feature films, plus dozens of stage productions both in Los Angeles and New York. Eden received an Emmy nomination for A League of Their Own, plus two more Emmy nominations for NBC’s Passions. In 2008, she moved to Las Vegas where she teaches costume design at UNLV, mentors young women, creates costumes for Las Vegas entertainers, and continues her writing.
Established in 1994, JourneyWoman is the first women's solo travel publication in the world, beloved by thousands of women who took their first step with JourneyWoman as their guide.
Our calls are a place where women can share their dreams, hopes, and fears without judgment. A place where every woman has space to speak. Where every voice is invited and welcomed, and every perspective is valued and appreciated. Calls are limited to 30 women to ensure everyone has an opportunity to speak and share their stories.
It's our hope that these calls will strengthen our community of women around the world by providing a safe place for discussions, questions, friendships and shared learning. Please note, our calls are limited to a small group to enable discussion, so if this call is full please join another one!
These calls are for people who identify as women. By registering for this call, you agree that personal information, names and topics are confidential and remain within the JourneyWoman community. Calls will be recorded and content may be used for editorial purposes. We operate on a pay-what-you-can model to help us.cover operational costs and regularly donate proceeds to non-profits.
