Event description

Description

Banff is a close knit community where people care for each other and do what they can to help in good times and during the tough times. The Middletons are going through some tough times of their own due to some incredibly unfortunate circumstances. Anyone who has met JP, Katrin or their son Evan knows that they are such wonderful, caring people who are also expecting baby number 2 in July.

On March 9, 2018 JP was skiing at Norquay Ski Resort in Banff and what happened next can only be described as a freak accident. After getting bounced going over a cat track he landed on his backside and compressed his spine, breaking a vertebra. The break sent bone pieces into his spinal cord and caused severe damage. He has yet to feel or move his legs since the accident. JP is a local paramedic and firefighter with the town of Banff, he is one of our first responders and has the spirit to help and assist those in need. This accident is near and dear to the hearts of many in Banff. We will be hosting a fundraiser at The Rose and Crown in Banff to help raise funds for JP’s ongoing medical needs as well as other expenses that will arise.

We will be having a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, live music as well as other prizes.

If you would like to donate a silent auction item please contact
