Bad Magic is a band. They put on high energy, engaging live shows having routed the west coast up and down consistently drawing people into their twisted and charming world and plan to extend the reach of their audience as touring continues to open back up.

They write songs. Recording their debut singles Miss Ramona and Fool Underwater in 2019 at Hipposonic Studios in Vancouver BC only 3 months into forming the band. The session, with Jeff Zipp of Light Machine Records at the helm, spawned the bands’ debut dual single effort. The band released each single with an accompanying music video, self-produced, filmed and edited by the band themselves and a small group of renegade videographers. Both Miss Ramona and Fool Underwater have been praised for their visual portrayal of a colourful and narrative-driven debut effort, the latter of which was nominated as a finalist in the 2020 Canadian Indie Music Video Awards.

As the band prepares to release their latest studio EP "I Can't Sleep" in the fall of 2022, recorded at Raincity Recorders with acclaimed producer Matt Roach, they have been busy sharpening their claws at live shows, including sold out events at The Rickshaw Theatre, The Railway Club and The Wise Hall. The band hopes to share the hard work that carried them through the pandemic to unveil a deeper, heavier side of themselves through their musical prowess and focus on the importance of living in the moment: feel your way through the darkness & get you dancing with your shadow.
