Jumping Jellyfish is a 6-week swim program for preschoolers with special needs. Children will be assessed by a Recreation Therapist for swim readiness and basic swim skills taught during community swim programs. Individual family goals will be identified and support offered in areas such as safe participation, pool entry and exit, floatation and specialized equipment with the ultimate goals of community participation. The final two sessions will be held in the community. Parent/caregiver must accompany their child in the water during the program.
Additional Information: A Recreation Therapist from TVCC will call you to explore your child’s strengths/abilities, share information about the program and confirm your attendance. If you have questions about this program, please contact Sasha Chircoski, TVCC Therapeutic Recreation, 519-685-8700 ext 53396 or email@example.com.
