Frequently Asked Questions
Are dirt bikes allowed on the trail and event?
Yes, RCATV trails are multi-use trails, therefore with a trail pass, insurance and plates you are welcome to join in the fun.
Are trail passes available at the event?
No, annual and daily passes are available online at http://getapermit.ofatv.org and select RCATV as the club of choice. Day passes are $25, 3-Day are $55 and annual passes are $150. All permits are per machine, not per rider.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No we will have you registered. If you don't get an email confirmation from the event however, please contact info@renfrewcountyatv.ca
What is included in the cost?
Your $61 per person event costs include lunch and supper on Saturday, portable washroom costs, a door prize ticket and a $10 trail fund, limited onsite camping available for $10/person. All costs are incurred on the Saturday. If joining us for the Friday night only or Sunday only, a $10 at registration fee is applicable.
Is fuel available?
There is no fuel on the route, however, for those joining us Friday night, we have arranged with our Corporate Members Pikwakanagan Fuels to open on our way back to the trail-head so you are ready for Saturday. Likewise, fuel is available Saturday to fill up after the event for Sunday.
Does this event require MTO regulation (children over 8, 2-up or SXS for passenger, and drivers licence)?
There are some route choices that include roads, which would require children to be at least 8 yrs of age, and passengers on a legal 2-up machine. However there are trail options to ensure you remain on trails only, if you are unable to ride on a road (children under 8, non-legal 2-up machine, no drivers licence).
