About this event
As part of Burn’s Drive community forest initiative we are hosting a final evening of reforestation on Friday, June 24th, from 5-7pm in partnership with the Ignatius Old Growth Forest Project and the City of Guelph.
Food and children’s activities will be part of ‘Caring for our little forest’ activities. Fun ecology restoration activities include:
Finishing our mulched trails, planting some native food bearing trees and shrubs (for animals and people), removing garlic mustard (making pesto with it), burdock and other bossy plants that are taking over!
Please let us know if you are able to join us, and please let us know about any food allergies or restrictions at burnsdrivepark@gmail.com :)
