Would you Like to be a Part of Educating the Next Generation of Leaders?
Junior Achievement, the largest youth business education organization in Canada, is launching in Sault Ste. Marie and looking for individuals or professionals who want to volunteer their time in the classroom. Junior Achievement helps to inspire and prepare today's youth for tomorrow through financial literacy skills, entrepreneurship, and work readiness skills.
Junior Achievement programs are held in the classroom for students in grade 7-12. volunteers are needed to go into these classes to teach a course form the selection of Junior Achievement programs. The Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre (SSMIC) will be offering three programs:

Economics of Success Grades 8 -10; Training will be Thursday Nov 10 from 1pm-3pm

Dollars with Sense Grades 7-9; Training will be Thursday Nov 10 from 3pm-5pm
-
Be Entrepreneurial Grades 10-12; Training will be Friday Nov 11 from 1pm-3pm
Two volunteers are needed per class per lesson. Classes can run from, four 1 hour sessions, two 2 hour sessions or one 4 hour session. Volunteers will be trained on how to deliver the programming and all classroom materials will be provided.
