About this event
Join Julie for three weeks of improv games and exercises! If you’ve attended our Monthly Improv Comedy Jams or watched Whose Line is it Anyway, you’ve seen games in action. Games offer players a structured way to think quickly and creatively, as well as, delight audiences.
This course is open to beginners and seasoned improvisers alike. After this 3-week course (Wednesdays: January 4, 11, 18), you can showcase your skills at our Monthly Jam on January 25 – a hilarious, informal night of scenes and games where the Staircase Improv community comes out to play in the Studio Theatre at the Staircase.
As an Instructor Julie focuses on creating a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for co-learning improv comedy with a lot of positive reinforcement.
Dates: January 4th, 11th , 18th, and 25th (jam)
All classes start at 7pm and end between 9 and 9:30pm
$60 + HST and fees (includes three classes + jam)
