The Kanata-Carleton Small Business Network (KCSBN) is celebrating its 5th year in 2020!

Thanks to the generousity of the Wesley Clover Foundation, we have partnered with the Brookstreet Hotel in Kanata to host a bigger and better Small Business Fair for the community.

Our theme this year:

*Sustainable Disruption: Local Small Businesses with an Eye to the Future*

We have amazing local small businesses spanning the regions’ urban and rural community of Kanata-Carleton. Let us introduce them to YOU!


Welcome Remark:
Martin Vandewouw, President of KRP Properties - a Wesley Clover Operation.

Keynote Speakers:
Steve Cody & Bruce Linton, co-Founders of Ruckify

Guests of Honour:
MP Karen McCrimmon, MPP Merrilee Fullerton, Mayor Jim Watson, Councillor Jenna Sudds, Councillor Eli El-Chantiry, Councillor Glen Gower, Councillor Allan Hubley and former Councillor Marianne Wilkinson.

We are delighted to present our Outstanding Local Small Business Award 2020 to the co-founders of Ruckify, Steve Cody & Bruce Linton. They are not only what one would call "market disturbers", but they care so much about environmental sustainability that they started the Tree Project, which has a starting goal of 1 billion trees to be planted by Ruckify.

Service Providers:

For those of you who are interested in launching and growing your business, we have experts providing information from Invest Ottawa, Futurpreneur Canada,  Ottawa Community Loan Fund (OCLF), Office of the Small & Medieum Enterprises (OSME) and Community Employment Resource Center (CERC).

Admission & Donations:
Admission is free. Please bring $2 or a non-perishable food item in support of the Kanata Food Cupboard.

Children & Youth:
Free children supervised entertainment corner (age 1.5 to 12) provided by Kanata North Early Learning Center. ALSO local children and youth entrepreneurs are showcasing their products and unleashing their entrepreneurial spirit!

Free parking at the Brookstreet Hotel

ATM Machine:

Vendors will be selling products at the Fair on a cash only basis (ATM machine on site)

Snacks and refreshments will be served ON SITE - be our guests
