Full Self-Guided Tour Program available on our website www.KawarthaFarmfest.com or call 1-888-822-2225 extension 1208.

Additional information:

For 2018 we will have 8 farms from across Kawartha Lakes opening their doors for the day featuring cows, horses, pigs, alpacas, sheep, chickens, turkeys, pumpkins, honey, and vegetables. Meet some of the farmers that grow our food and learn more about the different kinds of farming in the City of Kawartha Lakes.

New for this year event attendees can choose from hands on experiences like horse grooming, hand felting, and wool spinning or taste experiences like pumpkin bread, and organic sausages.

Participating restaurants will be offering a prix fixe menu featuring local ingredients. If you'd like to make a reservation for a table at a specific time, please call the restaurant directly.

Pre-planned route suggestions on the website will make planning easy. Choose between themes like “A Day with Animals”;”Food from the Field”, and if you can’t choose - see the best of both with a “Mixed Farm Route”, or plan your own route. See if you can visit all the sites!

Tickets will be available in advance online as well as at municipal service centres, selected libraries, farmers' markets and Kawartha Dairy stores. Tickets available at all tour sites on event day.
