Kazoo! & the Downtown Guelph Business Association present:
Ducks Ltd
In addition to having one of our favorite band names, Toronto’s Ducks Ltd. are also one of our favorite bands. With their blend of golden era jangle-pop reminiscent of The Clean and the Feelies, Ducks Ltd. manages to do it in a way that still feels new. With a killer EP and record released on Carpark/Royal Mountain Records in 2021, they’re only getting started.
Mother Tongues
There’s never been a sunshine-y psych rock group that has affected us like Mother Tongues. Never turning away from experimentation, Mother Tongues manages to craft dense, interesting, and catchy music that melds together psychedelic jams, dub breaks, and straight ahead rock. Their music is enchanting, crushing, and emotional, all at the same time. Give them a warm welcome for their first show in Guelph.
Ten Boy Summer
Mary King, Calder Mckenna and Conor Beer are 3 real nice folks. They also make up one of Guelph's best bands, Ten Boy Summer. With their laid-back grunge-pop, TBS are the soundtrack to the sweetest summer BBQ, the sweetest summer breeze, and your sweetest summer romance. After a few years away, they’re back and ready to go (and packing some new tunes!). OK, let’s do this. Bring on the summer.
