We invite you to join us in this one-day workshop and learn strategies and techniques to be able to more effectively communicate and empower the children in your lives!

Using methodology sourced in Mindful Hypnosis and NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) Kelley and Miri teach an interactive course that will:

  • help you relieve yours and your child’s unnecessary stress, anxiety and even pain
  • show you how to use the power of emotion for positive results
  • strengthen your communication skills
  • equip you with powerful non-verbal techniques that calm, inspire and empower
  • allow you to use self-hypnosis for yourself and be able to teach your child how to use it

Modules include:

  • Instruction on the adult’s power of influence
  • Model of the mind
  • Why language is so important
  • Nonverbal communication
  • The magic of metaphor
  • How to use natural learning states
  • How to easily shift from unhelpful states to helpful ones
  • and more!

Attendees will receive a printed manual that contains topics discussed, along with additional resources.

About Your Instructors:

Kelley T. Woods is a certified hypnotherapist from Washington State, specializing in pediatric work. She has been in private practice since 2002 and is an author of several hypnosis-related textbooks, and lectures internationally on helping kids with hypnosis. Kelley is co-founder of K.E.E.N., a program designed to teach parents and other caregivers how to more effectively empower children in their lives.

Miri Malkin is a certified hypnotherapist and a coach from Vancouver, BC., working extensively with children and their families. Miri was trained by Kelley T. Woods and other top leaders in the field of hypnosis and using practical tools to help her clients makes their desired changes.

What is the exact location of the event?

The location will be in East Vancouver (either on Commercial Drive or in China Town) and depends on the number of participants.
The location will be announced on January 31, 2019

What can I bring into the event?

Dress comfortably, bring a bottle of water and your questions :)
A notebook is optional as you will receive a printed manual with the topics covered at the workshop and additional resources.

We will provide with coffee and some snacks.
We will have a 1-hour lunch break - either bring your own lunch or enjoy the delicious food from the many nearby restaurants.
