About this event

This is an in person event. If you would like to attend a virtual event, or an event in a different area, please visit: KeepAlbertaRCMP.ca/CommunityEngagementTour

The National Police Federation invites all Albertans to join us to learn more about the Government of Alberta’s proposed provincial police service and have their say on the future of policing in Alberta through our KeepAlbertaRCMP Community Engagement Tour. The proposal to replace the Alberta RCMP with a provincial police service would cost over $550 million while providing fewer fully trained police officers.

The NPF will be hosting live and virtual meetings across the province to share clear and factual information and hear your unique thoughts, concerns, and questions. Meetings are open to the public, so please forward this link to friends and family who may be interested in attending. We want to hear from you and others in your community.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, all venues are participating in the Restrictions Exemption Program and as such, all participants must comply with those restrictions including proof of vaccination and masks. We ask all participants to RSVP to ensure we stay within capacity limits and so that we can contact you should any details change.

If you would like to review the Provinces Transition Study Reports, they are available here:
