Description

Digital RIGHTS ~ social MEDIA ~ PRIVACY ~ privacy RIGHTS ~ open GOVERNMENT ~ open DATA ~ human INTELLIGENCE ~ artificial INTELLIGENCE ~ quantim INTELLIGENCE

If you are confused by how technology is changing our lives, disrupting our future and making us feel increasingly disconnected in a multi-connection world, this will be of interest to you. This unique Open News Network presentation is all about addressing these subjects and more including where Canada fits in the equation.

Hosted by Keith McDonald*, keithCHATS: Between Humans and BOTS, is part performance & part interactive workshop complete with humour, live music, anecdotes, interview clips and multiple news headlines. It is definitely not your typical seminar!

The event is targeted for general and multi-generational audiences - it's not a technical seminar or lecture but, rather, a captivating social discussion and “thought exchange” between attendees and facilitator.

Come see how we connect the bots, er, dots – on all of these subjects. Bring your significant other and friends on an October evening out.

WHAT ATTENDEES ARE SAYING ABOUT keithCHATS:

"I’ve never seen such a smooth and high tech Powerpoint style slideshow as Keith’s. He incorporated Siri to create a very unique presentation. It was absolutely seamless between Keith talking/singing, Siri talking to him and the other videos he had playing right on cue. The visuals alone were amazing, and the information he presented gave us a lot of food for thought."

EVEN MORE DETAILS:

keithCHATS: Between Humans & BOTS includes a musical duet and discussion with “Siri”, a survey on the AI fears of the audience, demonstrations of AI/Robots in play, a recap of Canadian efforts vs. the rest of the world (includes a government bureaucracy dance with a volunteer from the audience), an inspirational clip demonstrating good lessons for AI “beings”, outlining and discussing the precautions/actions audience members can take right now to prepare for what is coming plus quick explanations of relevant terms to help audience understanding (the Old McDonald Had a Farm song but done with AI references instead of animals). Note, not all of these songs are performed at any one keithCHATS session but you can check out all the song lyrics here.
