Reconnu pour « la limpidité, la clarté, la luminosité de son jeu » (Le Devoir), Kevin Dean est professeur de musique à l’Université McGill. Dans sa prolifique carrière, il a joué et enregistré auprès de légendes du jazz comme Jimmy Heath, Benny Golson, Joe Henderson et Barry Harris.
