For over 13+ years, Growing Chefs Ontario has proven itself as a leading organization in Ontario, creating and providing programming for schools, children, youth and families. All Growing Chefs! programs provide fun, hands-on learning opportunities designed to improve food literacy and an understanding of food systems.

Growing Chefs has partnered with Childreach to bring the magic of gardening to your child's play! Learn about healthy eating, growing veggies and herbs, explore pollinators, water play, and hone their early gardening skills. All plants, tools, and gardening supplies are provided. This program is catered for children 2-4 years old and their grown-ups.

Our program will consist of three separate sessions, and registration will be required for each :

June 20th: Seeds and Soil

June 27th: Animals in the Garden: Insect & Pollinators

July 4th: Water

What To Expect:

To ensure a fun and safe visit for everyone, we kindly ask all visitors to:

• Use the online Ontario School & Childcare wellness screening tool to determine if it’s safe to attend.
• Wash and sanitize hands often.
• Maintain phsycial distancing when possible.
• There will be many opportunities to get messy. Dress appropriately.
