Event description
Raising children has never been an easy task. But today’s parents have to deal with technology in like no other generations have ....

About this Event

Although technology has brought so many positives to our daily lives (i.e. increased

productivity, more entertainment, and easier communication), it has also had a lot

of negative effects (i.e. disconnect within families, laziness, and decreased attention

span).

It is important to teach our kids how to use technology appropriately, and it all

starts at home. This program is intended to help you:

 Understand how your own use of technology may be impacting your family

in a negative way

 Learn how to get a handle on your children’s use of technology

 Find alternatives to screen time

 Explore different ways to keep your children safe online (given how readily

available inappropriate content is and considering issues such as

cyberbullying and sexting)

 Open communication between you and your children about these issues

 Create positive habits for you and your children

 Help your family reconnect

This group is 4 weeks long. Members will meet every Thursday, starting August 1st, from 7pm-8:30pm.

we offer insurance receipts.
