UPDATE 10/23/2020: Today, the Quebec government confirmed that an announcement regarding the Red Zone restrictions -- whether these restrictions are lifted, amended, or remain in place -- will not be made until early next week. For the sake of ensuring that you, our audience, and our King of Canada team have sufficient time to adapt our schedules and proceed with our live performances, Infinithéâtre has no alternative but to delay our opening until Nov 3rd. All tickets holders will be personally contacted early next week and offered seats between Nov 3rd and 8th.
While we wait for next week's update on Montreal's Red Zone restrictions, we encourage you to sign up for our waiting list for first notice of ticket sales: https://forms.gle/nmHLDsDTYBVkRbya9
Should restrictions remain in place, an announcement will be made early next week regarding further postponement.
Recently included as part of our Infinite Playwrights' Chat Room series, Paul Van Dyck's King of Canada is a meta-theatrical political comedy with two actors: a woman and a man. The man plays King and the woman plays everybody else; close to forty other characters including King’s mother, FDR, Churchill, Hitler, and three Irish terriers named Pat.
Directed by multi-award-winning Zach Fraser and showcasing Ellen David and Brian Dooley, two celebrated stars of the Montreal theatre scene, and presented in association with KIN Experience, King of Canada will run from October 29 to November 8th at KIN Gallery. Tickets are extremely limited, in order to comply with all health advisory and physical distancing protocols. Seating will be pre-assigned by the Box Office.
