Event description

Description

Pain affects over 40% of Canadians aged 45 or older and up to 80% of all seniors. People spend more money on pain than any other condition, yet health care professionals do not always have access to the tools needed to help patients effectively manage their conditions.

This conference will cover topics such as:

  • What should health care providers know about evidence-based pain management?
  • What are considered best practices?
  • How can understanding pain help treatment providers and those advocating for your patients?

Join us for a half-day conference addressing the common challenges in treating and advocating for pain patients, including current and new treatment techniques.

Hear from the experts in the field of pain management on what is available today, what may be coming tomorrow, and how to harness our health care resources efficiently and effectively.

Workshop Objectives:

  • Learn about the latest evidence-based pain management treatments
  • Understand the genesis of pain
  • Learn how to access treatment and funding for your patients

Who Should Attend?

This conference is intended for all hospital and community healthcare professionals. A digital Certificate of Attendance will be distributed upon request.
