On Sunday, June 16th, friends and families are invited to join us at Hastings Racecourse to celebrate Kiwassa Neighbourhood House community food & childcare programs!
It's a Father's Day-approved event, and money raised will support our ability to deliver more than 3000+ free healthy snacks and meals to children, families, and seniors every week. In addition to the 150% increase in demand for food programs this past year, our beloved van was stolen this Spring. Replacing it will allow us to continue our work to rescue and re-distribute food to a network of community agencies, supply our food banks and low-cost produce markets, and work with partners like Saige, the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, and the Hastings Sunrise Community Food Network.
