Dan Livingstone

Fingerstyle blues guitarist Dan Livingstone has been receiving acclaim from musicians and audiences alike as an exceptional fingerstyle guitar player and an engaging performer.  Recently featured on the cover of the magazine Blues & Co. (#66, Dec. 2013), Dan is now becoming recognized on the international level and is touring all over the world.

Lonesome Buckaroo

Equal parts Oklahoma, USA and the Yukon, CAN, cowboy blues meets hillbilly jazz. After crossing each other on the festival circuit over the past 10 years with 15 albums between them, songwriters, multi-instrumentalists, and international award winning touring artists Gordie Tentrees aka Lonesome (dobro, guitar, harp, porch board bass) and Jaxon Haldane aka Buckaroo (banjo, mando, fiddle-saw and cigar box guitars) make their debut at this year’s Klondike Roots & Blues Festival.

Brandon Isaak

Brandon cut his teeth and honed his blues ninja skills right here in his hometown of Whitehorse, Yukon. Growing up in the Yukon there was never a shortage of awesome talent to work with. Brandon most recently won a Maple Blues Award for (Acoustic Act of the Year) and just returned from a 3 week tour of Western Europe.

 Harpdog Brown & His Traveling Blues

Harpdog Brown is a gifted singer and imaginative harmonica player. Most recently won (harmonica player of the year 2015) from the Maple Blues Awards. The Dog is and always has been a hard core bluesman, never swaying with passing fads in music. Here your chance to catch ta real bluesman in his prime. Now the Dog has a hot new trio with Jordan Edmonds on guitar and Pat Darcus on stand-up bass. Not to be missed!

 The Midnight Sons Band is a Canadian rock band consisting of Alex Johnston (Guitar/Vocals), Patrick Docherty (Drums/Vocals), Ian MacIntyre (Bass/Guitar) and Daniel Stark (Guitar).  The group was formed in December of 2012 in Whitehorse, Yukon.  Since their inception, they have been spreading their

The Small Town Playboys

 These guy have been playing together for quite a few years now. Brandon Isaak-Guitar, Vocals, Sam Shoichet-Bass and Charles Hart-Drums. They play a mixture of blues, funk and juke joint music. These 3 are all old Twisters alumni and always put on a great show.

 JW Jones Band

 “JW-Jones is a red hot young Canadian guitar slinger/singer“, says Grammy-winning producer Tom Hambridge. Canada’s national newspaper, the Globe and Mail, referred to this Maple Blues Award winner as “one of this country’s top blues guitar stars.” Billboard called JW part of “a new wave of young talent moving onto Canada’s blues stage.” A great guy with a top notch band, do not miss this guitar wizard.

 Arsen Shomakhov Trio

Arsen Shomakhov originally hails from mother Russia, but now lives and tours out of Vancouver, Canada. Arsen is a world class bluesman with a world class band behind him. Blues legend Charles Hart on Drums and the ever solid Bruce O'Neil on upright bass. They most recently won first place in the Blues Battle to Memphis and will now represent BC in the IBC this year. Be prepared to be amazed ! "This is one bad ass guitar player, and one of my favourites in the country." -Brandon Isaak
