Knitting 101 Workshop at Greater Goods

Learn the basics of your new favourite fall activity! Knitting is an amazing activity that you can utilize to create your own own scarves, hats, socks, clothes, blankets and more! Join avid knitter Nicole Bracey of Salt Water Tea and Greater Goods for this introductory course to get you started on your new favourite hobby!
Participants will learn basic knitting terminology, how to read a yarn label, how to read a pattern, how to cast on and off, and will start a project to take home. All your supplies are included!
This workshop includes:
- All supplies (yarn, needles, basic knitting tools, patterns)
- Detailed professional instruction
- Snacks and light refreshments
- A gift to take home!

Nicole is a jewelry maker by day, but an avid knitter by night. She was taught by her mom (a master knitter) and fell in love with process.

Greater Goods is a hybrid boutique, cafe, and workshop space that focuses on supporting local artists. Located in beautiful Bridgeland in the historical de Waal building, this workshop space is open 6 days a week.
