Event description

Description

Join us at the Albion Library to prepare for Toronto’s next election! Join us at Albion Library to learn and talk about affordable housing in the run-up to Toronto's next election. What does the City do? How do people find it?

Hear from Kegan Harris, Albion Neighbourhood Services, on what affordable housing resources are available in Toronto, and what role Toronto's City Government plays in affordable housing. You'll also work with other community members to craft questions you can ask your City Councillor.

You'll also have the chance to discuss housing with and hear from your fellow Torontonians, and get a virtual tour of the Know Your Vote T.O. website, the Toronto Public Library's newest civic information tool. Community members of all ages and knowledge levels are welcome.

Light refreshments and childcare will be available.

These events are part of the Toronto Public Library's Know Your Vote T.O. project.

Please note: These events are opportunities for Torontonians to learn and discuss issues facing their city. Campaigning for or against any particular candidate is not allowed, and distribution of political material is prohibited. Find out more about relevant Library policies here.
