An Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance (a collaboration between OMAFRA and U of G) KTT Knowledge Exchange Event

About this Event

Join us for a two-hour event aimed at advancing the science of KTT in the agri-food sector through theory and practice.

The first hour of the event will feature our keynote speaker with the second hour profiling three current Alliance-funded KTT research projects by U of G researchers.

Keynote speaker and presentation:

Dr. Laurens Klerkx, Professor, Technology and Innovation Group, Wageningen University: Recent Trends Influencing Agricultural Innovation Systems: Implications for the Science of KTT in Agri-Food.

Alliance-funded U of G researchers:

  1. Prof. Erin Nelson: Farmer-Led Research: Evaluating a KTT Best Practice for Driving Environmental BMP Adoption
  2. Prof. David Kelton: Influencing Antibiotic use Decision Making by Dairy Veterinarians
  3. Prof. Ataharul Chowdhury: Improving the Effectiveness of Advisory Services for Facilitating Information Sharing, Accessibility and Adoption of Sustainable Farm Management Practices in Ontario.

Following the presentations, participants will have an opportunity to engage with speakers to understand how these concepts and research applies to their own work.

The virtual platform and meeting access information will be circulated to registrants closer to the event date.
