August 26, 2017 is a day to celebrate trail communities along the Trans Canada Trail. Celebrations will take place in every province to highlight this Canadian connection that has been years in the making.

The K&P Trail connects many of our communities in Frontenac, and as the final kilometres are due to be completed soon, Frontenac County invites you and all trail users to celebrate with us in Sharbot Lake on August 26. Come by foot, bicycle, horse, or ATV and participate in the Celebration Kick Off in Railway Heritage Park, join the trail parade through the Sharbot Lake rock cut, and enjoy music and food at Oso Beach.

This day of festivities will double as Frontenac County’s Canada 150th Celebration, and promises to be a fun and active day for the whole family!
