About this event
Shoshin is a term meaning "Beginner's mindset" in the Japanese language.
We want to label our 2022 showcase with this term to remind everyone that dance is not a one-way journey and we will need to always see ourselves as a beginner from time to time. Stay humble, learn what we didn't know, and refine what we already knew.
In the Chinese language, this word means "original purpose". As we often say " Don't forget your original purpose" to remind ourselves why we started something.
We believe that this term is very meaningful to our 2022 showcase.
After the difficult past 2 years, we would like to celebrate the growth of each individual.
