Event description

Description

Celebrate and explore Canada's cultural diversity with a family-friendly interactive musical performance by KUNÉ. Its 11 musicians hail from all corners of the globe - Peru, Burkina Faso, Cuba, Ukraine, and beyond. KUNÉ (which means "together" in Esperanto) seeks to communicate a common language through music. Expect to hear a uniquely Canadian but global sound with instruments as diverse as the musicians themselves, from the tar of Iran to the bouzouki of Greece to the bamboo flute of China.

A limited number of tickets will also be made available at the door for walk-ins.

Performance runs from 2 to 3 pm and will be followed by an artist meet & greet and reception.

Presented by Humber College, the Assembly Hall and Lakeshore Arts as part of Etobicoke Lakeshore Culture Days.
