3. Your ticket(s) include(s) entry to the Gala & CC Awards at the AGA, A complimentary 360 Photobooth by Xperienc360, Hors d'oeuvres (exquisite à la carte bite-size appetizers), live music, performances, and an after-party.
4. This is a cocktail style event with very limited seating (Wear comfortable shoes. First come, First Served).
5. A cash bar with the option to pay by debit will be available.
6. The hors d'oeuvres & appetizers for the Gala will be served starting around 7 pm until 830 pm. They will include gluten-free, vegetarian, and dairy-free options!

On Thursday, December 29th, 2022; La Connexional, in collaboration with the ACPA (African Canadian Performing Arts) Foundation, will be hosting, for the first time, its Annual Gala Night and Creative Citizen Awards (CCA) from 630 pm till 1130 pm at the prestigious Art Gallery of Alberta.

The CC Awards primarily aims to recognize the (creative) talents and contributions of people of African, Black, Caribbean and Latin (ABCL) descent from Alberta To The World. The CCA will focus on recognizing the youth and changemakers within Alberta's creative communities.

We encourage the nominations of creatives who identify within ABCL and BIPOC communities. Equitable representation is at the core of what we do within La Connexional, and these awards will be given to those that demonstrate awareness and amplification of our communities. 🤎

Join us for a bespoke evening where you will get to enjoy food, socialize, dance and escape the cold while celebrating and rejoice in the beginning of 2023 🥳.

• 830 pm - 9 pm: Awards and recognitions
• 9 pm - 930 pm: Background Live Music by David Jay + Socializing
• 930 pm - 1130 pm: BANGERZ x Prime XIII Sound (DJs) + Socializing + Dancing + Goodbyes
