Labor of Love?: Precarious Work and the Future of Academic Workers
Date and time
An interdisciplinary conference gathering academics and workers at Ontario universities.
About this event
This one-day interdisciplinary conference, organized by University of Toronto's CUPE 3902, and held in downtown Toronto, offers academics and workers an engaging opportunity to explore what it means to do precarious work and how to address its challenges. Attendees can hear dynamic, new research in this area, as well as meet and interact with colleagues who hold similar interests. While open to all academic workers, preference will be given to contract academic workers who are experiencing precarious circumstances firsthand.
