Event description
United Way’s 28th Annual Labour Appreciation Night, presented by Pacific Blue Cross, is coming up on December 2nd, 2021

About this event

This year's event will continue our nearly 30 -year-long tradition of celebrating incredible local labour leaders, and learning from their experiences and insights. But new in 2021 is the option to attend in-person - and get a great meal and mingle with your friends - or join us virtually for the program portion of the event.

The program this year will feature our award recipients discussing the importance of the labour movement in 2021, and why workers working with community organizations benefits all of us. Expect to learn lots and come away inspired about the work United Way is doing by working with leaders from across the labour movement.

Regardless of how you choose to join us, we'll still be celebrating the remarkable contributions of labour activists to their community while respecting our need to keep physically distant from each other.
