About the Labour in our Roots Learning Series
Sponsored by Saskatoon Metro NDP, this is a four-part webinar series about the shared history of the labour movement and the NDP. The Forums aim to create a place to learn and exchange ideas.
The first session will be the history of the NDP in Saskatchewan and its connection with the labour movement .
The second session examines the years of the Blakeney to Romanow to Calvert governments, focusing on certain themes related to labour over that time.
The third session is focused on the NDP years in Opposition and the SaskParty-Labour relations. In other words, what has changed in these years leading up to now?
The last session will be a discussion session structured in a way to allow sharing of opinions and ideas around the economic and political challenges facing the province and the NDP .
