Event description

Description

Join us for Ladies, Wine, & Design Toronto's discussion panel and networking event featuring guest speakers Brit Theis, Maayan Ziv, Michelle Hopgood, and Andrea Crofts. We are excited to have some of Toronto's creatives discuss Accessibility & Design! What makes design accessible? What's the difference between accessible, usable, and universal design? Are people with disabilities considered and involved in design processes?

Beverages and snacks will be served.

Many thanks to our funding sponsor Format and venue sponsor Shopify!

Ladies, Wine, & Design was started as an initiative to foster women creativity. Only a tiny percent of creative directors are women, and LW&D wants to help change this through mentorship circles, portfolio reviews, and creative meet-ups. We have spread to chapters in over 200 cities all over the world. Almost monthly, a small group of creative women meet to wine, dine, and have casual conversations on a wide variety of topics relating to creativity, business, and life.

Ladies, Wine, & Design Toronto is intended to be a space for all women-identifying, non-binary, genderfluid and genderqueer persons, trans women, trans men, and IBPOC. CIS-men are also welcome and we ask that they make a donation for this ticketed event.

• No one will be turned away for lack of finances.
