Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

The residents of Sunnydale Trailer Park have begun to notice things are not right. Ever since local grow-op owner Ricky began using a new fertilizer, his weed plants have begun to move around and kids have been disappearing. The trailer park supervisor has been affected as well, speaking to his "liquor" and following its commands.

The stars are in alignment, the F#$ing Samsquench has been spotted, and the world is facing a total Sh#tpocalypse. The park is swarming with freaks in bathrobes, and strange topless women chanting, it's totally F#$ed boys.

Can the residents of the park prevent the end of the world?

No. I'm going with no.

But it's gonna be interesting to watch.

A note on the setting and expectations of behaviour:

Lovecraft is about degenerate behaviour masked by pleasant appearances and good manners, about evil hiding in mundane places. Trailer Park Boys, conversely, is about decency hiding in a place of open degeneracy. While the residents of the park are often greasy and larcenous, there remains in them a deep streak of basic kindness and decency. They care for each other, and are a real community.

The joy of this game is in the conflict of Lovecraft’s creepy racism, and Xenophobia with a setting where they will pretty much look after you no matter how greasy you are. The Trailer Park doesn’t judge too much.

This game is not about pretending to be hicks and acting like assholes. So please, keep in mind the basic nature of Trailer Park Boys: if someone is actually hurt (for example, in a gunfight) everybody calls time out. That’s the kind of people they are.

Leave actual nastiness for the bad guys, and even then, keep in mind most of them aren’t mustache twirlers and can be reasoned with.

ANY of these characters can be rewritten to accommodate a change in gender or ethnicity. If that’s a wish, please click the “Contact” button under the organizer Ryan’s name below to let him know and he’d be happy to. For the original characters that have been added, it’s ESPECIALLY easy.

If you have triggers, please let the organizer know. Every effort will be made to accommodate, but it’s a horror game, so there’s no guarantees. The organizer will help you determine if this game is for you or not. It’s not fun for anyone if it’s not safe for you.
