LASSA Welcome Event 2021: Picnic in the Park

Bring a packed lunch and join us for a picnic in the park! LASSA will provide some individual pre-packaged drinks and snacks.

Location:

The primary location is Charleson Park - we’ll have to update everyone with an exact location once we get there, so please subscribe to the Eventbrite or the Facebook event so we can let you know. If it’s raining or starts to rain, we can fall-back to the Cambie South and 1st Avenue rain friendly pop-up patio.

Covid precautions:

The space is outdoors and large enough to socially distance.

We advise that you only bring food to share with your family or a smaller group you are comfortable with, though you are welcome to donate pre-packaged food to the snack table.

Weather: Unfortunately, if the weather is against us, we may have to cancel or postpone the picnic, or move it in-doors at short notice. Please keep an eye on the Facebook event for updates.
