Event description

Description

Last Lecture is an opportunity for graduating students from The King's University to get together, enjoy their favourite foods and reflect on the many lessons learned as an undergrad. Students vote on a faculty speaker to impart some last-minute words of wisdom, the Derrick Timmermans Memorial Award recipient is announced and a student-selected faculty panel answer any and all questions from the audience. Graduating representatives from the Students' Association will also offer their thoughts on what it means to become alumni and share some memorable moments from the last four years.

Dr. Mark Sandle will deliver the Last Lecture this year, followed by faculty panelists Soon-to-be Professor Emeritus, Henry Schurmann and Brian Martin, along with Elden Wiebe, Scott Key and Michael DeMoor.

This is a free event for all King's students intending to graduate in 2017 and promises to be an evening of laughter, nostalgia, and dreaming of what life will be like post graduation.

Last Lecture is just one of many events hosted by the Alumni Relations Office as part of Celebrate King's Week 2018!
